Finger Family is a passionate punk band from Beijing, China. The band was formed in 2008 while all the members are still students, and released their first EP in 2009. Despite the cruel reality and shattered dreams they have to face after graduation, they never gave up their faith and find the way to keep performing.
In 2012, they joined the Carlsberg’s Asian commercial with the most famous Taiwanese band Mayday, and played their original song “youth chaos”. In 2013, they were invited to compose and record the song “summer carnival” as the Chinese Turntable Commercial of Sprite. In 2014, their hit song “wing “was selected by Ford, thus they had the chance to screen their first music video during Ford’s commercial shooting, and held a nationwide university tour. In 2015, they were invited to perform at Summer Sonic, and held a japan mini tour. In the autumn of 2016, Finger Family finally released their first full-length album–willing to burn out, and scheduled to tour over 30 cities. The final stage of the tour will be on December 25th, at YugongYishan, Beijing.

From Beijing to Tokyo, from Houhai to Atami, the first full-length album of Finger Family has gone through continuous overturn during its recording and production process. They are resosolved to integrate new musical concept, and experiment various attemps for perfection . It took them three years to complete this album, thus band members have to broken their words time after time, and let the fans wait for a summer after another.
The experience of producing this album is more like a rebirth for these zealous punkers. To enhance the quality of the sound，they record the album at the famous TweakToneLabs studio in Beijing. They spared no expense to approach the best auditory effect. The post production was done in King Sekiguchidai Studio(begun in 1931)in Tokyo, one of the eldest recording studio in Japan. They even traveled across the sea and expressed their demands face to face with the mixer, who has completed the ablum of LUNA SEA、BUCK-TICK、Onmyo-Za and AKB48 . For domestic music production, the sound mixing and mastering are generally conducted by one person, but in fact the final mastering is really crucial. Finger Family invited the master with the experience of 30 years working in king records, and made a perfect end for the music production of this album. The cover of the album was written by Hirata Hiroshi, the 79 years old national treasure-class cartoonist and calligrapher of japan.
This year, these hot-blooded punkers will set forth on a great voyage. Finger Family’s first national tour began on October the 5th. They took along their album willing to burn out, on which they spent eight years of energy, and held a tour including 31 cities. This 3 months tour will be end on Christmas day in their hometown Beijing，at YugongYishan.
You may have waited for them for 8 years and they had already become part of your youth.
You may know them just now, but it is not late anyhow.
Willing to burn out–it is a journey across thousands of miles, just for a promise made 8 years ago.
