Italian extreme gothic metal band Graveworm make their China debut . The group was founded in 1992. They are back—and almost back to the roots with their new album ”Fragments of Death”. The album was recorded in July 2011 at the “Dream Sound Studios” in Munich. The songs are about the death in its thousand faces, which is also reflected in the album title and cover art. Musically. The Italian dark metellers conquer the metal-world once again with mystical, dark and melodic death music. The album can be seen as a mixture of the best of the last four records, with some old school roots and definitive darker than its predecessors.
This dark crew seduces gothic black/death-metal-lovers with intense, emotional and apocalyptic songs, darker and colder than it could be in a monster-worm’s hole. Harsh death-romanticism meets honest conflicts with the burdens of life, freezing your hearts for eternity.
Finally with “Fragments of Death”, Graveworm are back on the way to the top. The limited first edition also contains a new version of their all-time hymn “Awake”.
