Debuted as a leader of a band Mondo Grosso in 1993. Later on, Mondo Grosso became his solo project. As Shinichi Osawa, he’s been releasing
groundbreaking works internationally. The Album “The One” was released in
Japan by avex, Europe by Southern Fried Records and in the US by Dim Mak
Records.
As a producer, his recent works include of Japanese top artists including
Namie Amuro and MINMI and as a remixer he is outstanding works for
world-wide artists such as Digitalism and Felix da Housecat. His remixes
works for both domestic and international artists are put together as ”
TEPPAN-YAKI” which saw a release in Europe and Asia. As a DJ, he was
selected as the most popular DJ in Japan for 2 consecutive years and he is
quite active touring in Europe as well.
“Singapore Swing feat. Paul Chambers” from Shinichi’s latest album “SO2” has been on a playlist of FATBOY SLIM, 2MANY DJS, EROL ALKAN, BOYS NOIZE and more.
Shinichi will be joined by good friend and touring buddy from Japan – Masa. Also featuring will be R3 and LIman.
