Arizona quintet BLESSTHEFALL have spent years taking their message globally and making it their mission to perfect their craft – each body of work more impressive than the last.
BLESSTHEFALL take a giant leap forward in the making of their new album, To Those Left Behind, creating the band’s proudest collection of pulverizing and sonically dynamic tracks. As the follow up to 2013’s Hollow Bodies, BLESSTHEFALL — Beau Bokan (lead vocals), Eric Lambert (guitar), Jared Warth (bass/vocals), Matt Traynor (drums), Elliott Gruenberg (guitar) — teamed up with producer Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Of Mice & Men) to create a deeply personal, bold and dark collection of pulverizing and sonically dynamic tracks that coincide with themes of life, betrayal and revenge paired with a haunting touch of paranormal activity.
Blessthefall continue to prove themselves as one of the most respected frontrunners in the metalcore community and have spent years building a strong foundation and legion of devoted fans throughout their impressive career of over a decade — but they’re not done yet. Since forming in 2003, blessthefall have issued His Last Walk (2007), Witness (2009), Awakening (2011), and Hollow Bodies (2013) which hit #15 on the Billboard Top 200. Performing at their highest level on To Those Left Behind, the band sets the album up to highlight not only the metalcore genre in itself, but quality musicianship as a whole.
While classic hard-hitting tracks like “Up In Flames” and “Against The Waves” provide seamless confections of heavy guitar riffs, flawless screams, and everything fans love about blessthefall, the band take it up a notch when tracks like “Dead Air” and “Condition // Comatose” showcase impeccable songwriting abilities and Bokan’s powerful, bone-chilling vocals.
Known for their explosive live show, blessthefall recently wrapped up their cross-country trek on the Main Stage of the Vans Warped Tour. Wasting no time, the band will hit the road again in October to spend the latter part of their year touring in support of To Those Left Behind with Stick To Your Guns, Emarosa, Oceans Ate Alaska, and Cane Hill – adding to an already impressive touring history that includes runs with As I Lay Dying, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, August Burns Red, Every Time I Die, and Asking Alexandria.
