Japanese post-hardcore Before My Life Fails was formed in 2006 by Matsuno (vocal), Shinji (guitar), Boo (guitar), Tsutomu (bass) and Nobu (drum).
In 2007, Before My Life Fails, in collaboration with Her Name In Blood from Tokyo, released EP Split. In 2008 BMLF was invited to the performance of Taste of Chaos, performed along with As I Lay Dying and Story of the Year. BMLF was also signed to independent record label Keep And Walk Records in the same year, and released EP The Pathetic Party.
BMLF was signed to Zestone Records in 2010, and work together with established bands such as Crossfaith and Lost. BMLF released debut album Youth Against Christ, which then soon became the post-hardcore music par excellence in Japan. In April 2013, BMLF released EP (For)Lorn, with contributions from Masato – vocal of Coldrain – and Ryo – vocal of Crystal Lake.
As invited by Hotpot Music, BMLF lands in China for the first time in February 2014!
