Thy Art Is Murder is a Deathcore from Cambeltown, New South Wales, Australia. The band formed in 2006 and have released two EPs and two full-length albums and are currently signed to Distort and Nuclear Blast worldwide. Their 2008 EP Infinite Death, reached position no. 10 on the ARIA Charts upon release, and their second full-length album Hate debuted at no.35 on the ARIA Charts, making them the first extreme metal band to ever reach the Top 40 of this chart.
Thy Art Is Murder have garnered a wide fanbase in Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States despite having not even toured in the US yet.
