Alec Haavik Friction Alliance, based in Shanghai, is a futuristic take on the classic saxophone trio, using electronic effects in the performance of jazz-rock operatic excerpts and other original music. The Alliance is comprised of Alec Haavik (USA) on saxophones, Fred Grenade (Mauritius) on electric bass and Jhonny Joseph (Mauritius) on drums.
